DEFINED:

GRACE is receiving undeserved favor.  RESPONSIBILITY is the expected response ability from someone who has received such undeserved grace.


I.     Be strong in the GRACE


‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:1‬‬

You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.


II.     All of God’s Covenants are covenants of GRACE


‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:1-2‬‬

Then God spoke all these words: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery.


III.     All of God’s Covenants expect human RESPONSIBILITY


‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:3-4‬‬

For what the law could not do since it was weakened by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering, in order that the law’s requirement would be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.


‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:4-8‬‬

for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints because of the hope reserved for you in heaven. You have already heard about this hope in the word of truth, the gospel that has come to you. It is bearing fruit and growing all over the world, just as it has among you since the day you heard it and came to truly appreciate God’s grace. You learned this from Epaphras, our dearly loved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, and he has told us about your love in the Spirit.
