Hebrews 12:1 (ESV)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses...

...let us also lay aside every weight…

1.     Does this help me run toward Jesus?

...and sin which clings so closely...

2.     What sin is in my life that I have not addressed?

...and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us...

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith...

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

3.     What am I focused on

Hebrews 12:2 (ESV)

...who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
