Curious Kurios

Children's Sunday

Colossians 3:15-24

Focus: While we probably really appreciate some of our relationships with God and His son Jesus Christ (child, brother, friend, savior, etc.), that might be a bit of a stretch with Kurios.

I. Kurios is the Greek word for the Hebrew word ADO and is most often translated into English as LORD & MASTER.

II. Words that imply RELATIONSHIP or AUTHORITY can sometimes be INTIMIDATING.

III. God desires our lives and RELATIONSHIPS to be filled with PEACE and THANKFULNESS because we AUTHORITY see from His point of view.
