I. A "False Witness" is SOMEONE WHO LIES Exodus 23:1, Proverbs 12:17, 14:5, Leviticus 19:11, Proverbs 19:5
A. A "white lie" is A LIE. Acts 5:2
B. A "half-truth" is A WHOLE LIE.
C. Deception is A LIE.

II. Why do we lie?
A. Telling the truth is not ALWAYS EASY. Galatians 1:10, Proverbs 9:7-9, Ephesians 4:15
B. "SELF CENTERED lying" and "OTHER CENTERED lying"
C. Satan is the FATHER OF LIES and the LEADER OF LIARS. Revelations 12:9, John 8:44

III. What to do? Ephesians 4:22-25
A. Break the HABIT (put it OFF)
B. Practice new HABITS (put these ON)
