I. WAIT

Acts 1:4 (NIV)
He [Jesus ] gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

Acts 1:5 (NIV)
For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit."

· We tend to think ADDITION
· God thinks MULTIPLICATION

II. PRAY

Acts 1:12 (NIV)
Then they returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day's walk from the city…

Acts 1:14 (NIV)
They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

III. BE

Acts 1:8 (NIV)
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will bebe my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

John 12:24 (NIV)
Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

John 12:26 (NIV)
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

Dear God,
I wait for you. I don't want to remain a single seed. I want to lay my life down and experience your resurrected life. I want hidden roots that produce fruit. I ask for your move, and for your power. I will keep praying and depending on your power. Make me a witness of the realities, not merely someone who is aware of and talking about the formalities. I want to follow you and serve you. In Jesus' Name, and for his honor. Amen!

OUR OMNIPOTENT GOD'S GOT YOU
