...we face a dark time in the history of God's people. In spite of some encouraging signs, the forces of evil seem to be gathering for a colossal assault on the work of God in the world. Satan has unleashed his power in a way perhaps unparalleled in the history of the Christian Church. If ever there was a time we needed renewal, it is now.
In the midst of the vast problems which face our world, Christians are strangely silent and powerless, almost overwhelmed by the tides of secularism.

I. DIAGNOSIS
Matthew 5:13
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
II. REMEDY
Matthew 5:14
“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden.
John 1:18
No one has ever seen God. The one and only Son, who is himself God and is at the Father’s side — he has revealed him.
2 Corinthians 4:6
For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.
If you want to know God personally, look into the face of Jesus!
1 Chronicles 16:11
Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!
Romans 13:11-12
Besides this, since you know the time, it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep, because now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is nearly over, and the day is near; so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
