How to Show Others That God Understands

Focus: We need to become conduits of God's love and understanding.

I. We are walking relational demonstrations of the TRUTH OF CHRISTIANITY
 
II. Express the "FEEL IT Mode" before the "FIX IT Mode"
  • Matthew 11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.' But wisdom is proved right by her deeds."
  • Luke 7:34 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.'

  1. How do we express the "FEEL IT MODE?"
  2. How to be a CONDUIT of Christ's COMFORT
  • 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
  • Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Ephesians 2:6-7, 10 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 10 For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
